2023 Chevrolet Colorado Engine & Tow Specs

Three impressively powerful 2.7L turbo engines are available for the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado, depending on your chosen trim. The ZR2 comes standard with the most powerful engine — the 2.7L turbo high-output engine with up to 310 horsepower, same as the turbo plus, but 430 pound-feet of torque. All three engines include an eight-speed automatic transmission and optional four-wheel drive (4WD) though the turbo plus and turbo high-output comes standard with 4WD. A drive mode selector is available on the Trail Boss trim and above for help in difficult driving conditions, and the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with traction control is standard on all trims.
